Allaire Village Craft Show

Monday, April 25th, 2011

Another new show for us this Saturday at Allaire Village in Farmingdale, NJ. For those not familiar, Allaire is a bit like Batsto Village but a little further north in NJ…. not too far from Spring Lake, Lakewood and Freehold. Am working on making sure we have plenty of inventory and even some new pictures. Hope to see some familiar faces. Happy trails!

2 great shows

Friday, April 15th, 2011

I’m getting behind on my postings, but it’s because we’ve been busy. We were at 2 nice shows in the last 6 days. Robbinsville (100% Handmade) was a large show with a nice diversity of crafters and artists in a lovely new high school. A great first-time show for us that we hope to be able to add to our schedule in every year. The second show was a smaller private show in a company not far from home, and on a Friday. So many really nice folks there and lots of interest in our photos and frames. Howard is out in the garage as I write this, working on replacements for the frames that found new homes today! Thanks to everyone that supported us at each of these venues. Our next show is another new one… on April 30th at Allair State Park.

Up next on our show schedule….

In just a few weeks…. this is a new show for us so we’re not really sure what to expect.  The jury process was pretty stringent and everything here will be all hand-made and interesting so I’m looking forward to some fantastic shopping!!! Hopefully, our sales can keep up!!! LOL.  If you’re interested, this show is a little north of Trenton, with easy access via routes 295 & 195.  Let us know if you need directions.  Happy trails!

And so it begins….

Craft season for 2011, that is.  Our first show of the season is this Saturday, March 12th at Hope Methodist Church, 700 Cooper Rd in Voorhees, NJ.  The show runs from 9am thru 3pm.  Not only are there lots of interesting crafters to check out, but the church also offers some yummy food options (the meatballs sold here are a ‘never miss’ Howard favorite) in their food court.  We’ll be bringing along some new framed photos this year, along with some of our traditional favorites all housed in Howard’s handmade frames.  If the weather cooperates, we’ll be set up outside  near the front door.  If it’s too chilly or rain threatens, look for us against the far wall in the front room.  Either way, we hope (pardon the pun) to see your smiling face this weekend.  Happy trails!

Craft show season

Saturday, February 19th, 2011

Now that the weather has warmed up a little, thoughts turn toward spring, Easter, and with those, for many, come craft shows. Our spring schedule is firming up with our first show (and one of our favorites) at Hope Church in Voorhees, NJ on March 12th. A few weeks later on April 9th, we trying a new show in Robbinsville, NJ and a few weeks after that another new show at Allair State Park on April 30th. Then starts busy May with a show every weekend….. Come out and see us. It’s always nice to see a familiar face when we’re out and about. Happy trails.
