Need a craft show fix, but can’t find a local show? Try the Rancocas Woods Craft Co-Op. Conveniently located just 1 mile off of exit 43 of Route 295 at 208 Creek Rd in Rancocas Woods section of Mount Laurel, NJ. Over 20 crafters represented. Open 10am – 5pm, Wednesday thru Sunday. And yep, one of their newest vendors is Happy Trails Photography. Our first permanent retail location… ok, maybe not permanent, but more so than a weekend show. So come check it out and let us know what you think!

Sunday, January 30th, 2011Winter work
Tuesday, January 25th, 2011Apart from capturing a few good photos of snowy landscapes, winter can be a slow time for us at Happy Trails. 2011 seems different. This year we’re using the winter to stock up on Howard’s handmade frames, to set-up our show schedule, improve this web-site and to find alternate outlets for our work… like crafting co-ops, gift stores and the like. Lots of things on the horizon. Am hoping for some ‘news’ I can really talk about in the next week or two. In the meantime, check out our ‘shop’ tab on this site. We’ve switched e-commerce vendors and can now post our entire collection of card and print worthy photos for viewing via the web. Something lots of our customers have been asking for…. I’m so pleased to finally find a vendor who would accept the whole of our collection and still permit order fulfillment to stay with us (I’m a bit of a control freak when it comes to my photos)!!! Thanks for hanging with us and stay tuned for more news soon!
End of year
Wednesday, November 24th, 2010As we finish our year of shows, I wanted to thank everyone who stopped in at our booth and chatted or shopped or visited. It was a year of growth for us, which we are especially appreciative of during these tough economic times. It was year 1 for our handmade frames and they’ve been very well received. The frames were a bit of a risk but something we wanted to pursue as a way to bring Howard and his dad into the business. Other photographers have even requested that he build frames for them, opening up another mini-business opportunity for us… so the risk is paying off.
Our show schedule for 2011 is still up in the air. Looks like the earliest show will be in March. A complete schedule will be posted here as we get conformations.
Thanks again for your interest and support. May your end of year holidays be blessed with family, happiness and peace.
PS.. Remember we’re always on the lookout for interesting places to shoot. This winter I’ll be looking for indoor locations like churches, school rooms, or greenhouses. If you have any leads on locations, please pass them along. As we enter the spring season, I’m especially interested in wildlife nesting locations, especially bird nests and fox dens. Happy trails!
